Red raspberry selections with potential for mechanical harvesting

Forty-one red raspberry selections from crosses in 1991 and 1992, were harvested in year 2000 with a Korvan 930 pull-behind harvester at Stjoerdal in Mid-Norway. More than half of the selections were evaluated to have a potential for mechanical harvesting. Fruit from these selections were sampled and frozen and later tested for drip loss, refractometer value and content of anthocyanins in the juice. A ranking test is presented to further separate the selections.
