บทคัดย่อ

The utilization of GIS (Geographic Information System) in sugar beet cultivation.

This paper highlights the use of geographic information system in the improvement of all variables related to sugarbeet cultivation. The variables which determine the qualitative and quantitative yields in the field include soil physicochemical characteristics, climate, cultivar, fertilizer use, phytopathologies, irrigation and harvesting method. Variables that affect sugarbeet postharvest quality include transport, cleaning and storage.
