บทคัดย่อ

Identification of a peptide with specific activity against fungi that cause postharvest decay in fruits.

A hexapeptide (#19) with specific activity against Penicillium digitatum, P. italicum and Botrytis cinerea was identified. The peptide reduced fruit decay caused by these organisms. The peptide was not toxic against yeast and bacteria. Conidial germination was particularly sensitive to the peptide, and mycelial growth was also affected.
