บทคัดย่อ

Orchard factors affecting fruit storage quality and prediction of harvest date of apples.

An overview is provided of the effects of preharvest factors on apple fruit quality during storage, including: soil management and nutrition; rootstock and tree age; pruning and crop load; fruit position, seed number and fruit size; fruit and leaf transpiration; and fruit maturity at harvest. Particular attention is given to the effect of these factors on fruit Ca content.
