บทคัดย่อ

Optimal control of microwave combination ovens for food heating.

An overview is given of the results obtained so far in the framework of project FAIR CT96-1192 which is funded by the European Union. The overall objective of this project is to improve the operation of domestic ovens with multimode heating functions in order to optimize the final food temperature uniformity while minimizing quality losses due to edge overheating. The project team consists of 5 partners covering different areas such as control theory, heat and mass transfer modelling, microwave modelling, microwave oven design and construction, and optimization theory.
