บทคัดย่อ

Postharvest physiological problems of kiwifruits which need addressing.

The following are identified as the main areas requiring further research concerning the postharvest physiology of kiwifruits: preharvest factors which influence postharvest quality (water relations, nutrition, position of the fruit on the vine, and organic and integrated fruit production); harvest maturity; fruit softening; flavour, taste and aroma; and the role of ethylene in regulating the above factors. Research carried out in each of the above areas is reviewed.
