บทคัดย่อ

Changes of some aspects of postharvest physiology in Chinese toon bud.

Storage of Chinese toon (Toona sinensis) buds at 0 deg C resulted in a rapid decrease in respiration rate. Total chlorophyll, chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and vitamin C [ascorbic acid] contents also decreased and peroxidase activity increased markedly during storage. After 30 days, total chlorophyll and vitamin C contents had decreased by 38.9% and 95.4%, respectively, and peroxidase activity increased 4.5-fold. No fibre development or abscission occurred.
