Logistics and techniques of systems in agriculture.

ABSTRACT :

 

The logistics of uniting industry and agriculture in an integrated system are discussed. The following elements are considered: the application of systems techniques in agriculture; the history of logistics; simulation and modelling of this process; special tasks in agriculture; models for optimization of transport, etc. Several transport models are given and the chain of tasks for transport during harvest and postharvest of vegetables is considered. An example of transport optimization with two steps (producer-storage-seller) is presented.
