Current problems of market-oriented production in the growing of vegetables and fruit.

ABSTRACT :

 

Changes in the economic system, political relations and market restructuring are necessitating a reorganization of production and trade in basic foodstuffs in Central and Eastern Europe. Experiences in Hungary are discussed, with particular reference to the fruit and vegetable sectors.
