บทคัดย่อ

Effect of calcium infiltration on storage behaviour of Red Delicious apples.

Freshly harvested fruits were dipped for 5 min in 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4% CaCl2 solutions, air dried and stored under ambient conditions for 60 days. Dipping in CaCl2 solutions reduced the rate of loss of fruit firmness and weight during storage. These effects increased as the CaCl2 concentration increased.
