บทคัดย่อ

Chemical properties of the natural neurotoxin of Lathyrus sativus 3-N-oxalyl-2,3-diamino-propanoic acid ( beta -ODAP), its nontoxic 2-N-oxalyl isomer, and its hydrolysis product 2,3-diamino-propanoic acid (DAPRO) by 1H- and 13C-NMR-spectroscopy.

Two cases of complicated falciparum malaria with 48% and 30% parasitaemia are reported who recovered completely without blood exchange transfusion (BET). It is considered that BET remains an experimental procedure and it should not be used until a controlled trial has clearly demonstrated its benefit.
