บทคัดย่อ

Fungal diseases of citrus.

A summary is given of 20 years of mycological research at the Citrus Experimental Station Jaguey Grande based at the citrus enterprise Victoria de Giron, Matanzas, Cuba. Diseases detected on citrus included gummosis (Phytophthora spp.), dry root rot (Fusarium sp.), dieback of branches caused by Diplodia natalensis [Botryodiplodia theobromae], Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] and Fusarium sp. which often penetrated through injuries made by Solenopsis geminata and Wasmannia auropunctata [Ochetomyrmex auropunctatus]. Other diseases included greasy spot (Mycosphaerella citri), melanose (Diaporthe citri) and postharvest diseases caused by B. theobromae, Geotrichum candidum, Penicillium italicum and P. digitatum.
