Halamid (C7H7CINNaO2s. 3H20) is a antiseptic powder, that eliminated different microorganism in preserver solution that use in cut flower post harvest. In this experiment effect of different concentration of Halamid (0, 200, 400, 600 ppm) and using of preserver solution (pulsing and standard) on vase life of gerbera were conducted in a factorial arrangement in completely randomized design with three replicate. Results showed higher vase life was in 400ppm treatment with 12 day longevity. Lower vase life was in control with 7 day longevity higher petal dry weight were in 400 ppm and pulsing treatment with 0.5gr and 0.3gr, respectively effect of using of preserver solution on vase life was nonsignificant.
