A rapid, sensitive and inexpensive HPLC method for routine screening of beauvericin, fusaproliferin and enniatin B1,A1 and B has been optimised. Detection limits for the different compounds ranged between 0.5 and 3.6 ng and recoveries averaged from 56 to 74%. LC-MS conditions for enniatin analyses by API electrospray technique were set up which allowed for unique dentification of three different enniatins.
