การประเมินผลการนวดข้าวแบบป้อนเฉพาะรวง
The testing of threshing by head feeding was carried out in order to determine its suitability by considering important indicators : threshing capacity (kg/hr), percentage cleanness and threshing efficiency (%). The threshing machine employed a 3 hp diesel engine, a wire-loop type threshing drum and a plat form for 3 man feeding. The threshing drum speed was varied at 5 levels and the first testing was carried out in July 1984, using the first crop rice with 8% moisture content. The speed was varied between 160 and 205 rpm and the results indicated an increase in the threshing capacity with increase in the speed. The machine was modified to obtain higher speed by changing the threshing-drum pulley to a small size. The second testing was then carried out in January 1985 by using the normal crop rice with 11% moisture content. The speed was varied between 205 and 333 rpm and the results indicated a threshing capacity of 1041 kg/hr at 333 rpm, 95% cleanness and 0% unthreshed rice. In conclusion, the threshing by head feeding, when compared with the axial-flow type, its threshing capacity indicated its potential suitability for the Northeast.
