บทคัดย่อ

Measurement and modelling of produce responses in postharvest effected by preharvest parameters.

Transpiration of radish (cv. Nevadar) and carrot (cv. Nanthya) roots differing in quality at harvest was studied under controlled heat and mass transfer conditions. The results suggest that tissue resistance in the water vapour pathway is an objective measurable parameter that can be used to evaluate the effects of preharvest conditions on postharvest performance. It is suggested that tissue resistance can also be used to assess the effects of postharvest conditions and treatments on product properties.
