Effect of post-harvest fungicidal treatments in controlling olive anthracnose.

Benomyl (as Benlate), carbendazim (as Bavistin), thiabendazole (as Mertect), thiophante-methyl (as Topsin M), dicloran (as Botran) and diphenylamine (DPA) were used as pre- and post-inoculation treatments to control anthracnose of olives caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] in Himachal Pradesh, India. Carbendazim was the most effective in controlling the disease followed by benomyl, thiabendazole and thiophanate-methyl.
